TREVOR PRICE R.E.
Trevor
Price gained a BA (Hons) in Fine Art/Printmaking at the Winchester School of
Art (1985-1988) and in 2000 was elected as a Member of the Royal Society of
Painter-Printmakers (RE).
He
worked as printmaker for Brenda Hartill before setting up his own printmaking
studio in 1995 and has since had many
solo exhibitions and is represented in several prestigious collections.
His
recent prints are mostly drypoints using zinc or perspex plates and are
generally figurative with Cornish settings, where he grew up. His work often
features male obsessions, reflections of his own life or just fantasy that has
a sense of fun and is influenced by Picasso, Henry Moore, Henri Rousseau,
Elizabeth Frink and Cecil Collins.
