William Watson West presents new acrylic paintings on canvas and board

Graduating from Edinburgh College of Art, William has now been painting for over a decade. He has exhibited his paintings at galleries across the north of England and has his work held in several private collections. An award-winning artist, his latest work marks a shift in direction in subject matter, marking his recent move from Yorkshire to London.
A New Normal
A New Normal is a response to the changes in life on both a personal level, with Williamโs move to London, and the wider changes that we have all experienced as we move forward from over two years of living in a state of flux. With continuing use of bold colour and texture, Williamโs evocative abstract paintings offer a challenge to the viewer whilst maintaining a satisfying aesthetic inspired by his surroundings and his memories.
