Angela is an internationally active artist, researcher, educator and author. She
exhibits regularly on an International basis and has 40 years’ experience of working
As an artist, Angela’s work has not only focussed on individual sculptures, but
includes commissions and site responsive works for various locations and events.
Angela has taught in Adult and Community education institutions, UK Universities
and Specialist Academies and Masterclasses across Europe and in the USA. From
1999-2001 Angela was a researcher at the Royal College of Art. This led to her first
book, Mould Making for Glass, which was commissioned by A & C Black and
published in 2011.
In 2014 Angela received Arts and Humanities Research Council funding to start a
practice based PhD at the University of Sunderland, UK. The title of the study is
‘Towards Making The Unmakeable: How 3D Printing Can Inform Kiln Formed Glass
Practice in 21st Century
