Originally on a Design course in Glass and Ceramics at Stoke-on-Trent, moving to working in Industry for thirty years, returning full circle, doing an MA in ‘Applied Art and Design’ at Wolverhampton University in 2017, working in Glass as a medium. Using Hot glass, from a studio furnace, the blown forms revolve around the ancient shape of the ‘Amphora’, a shape known to the Romans and people of Mesopotamia, an area that help found civilization as we know it.

Exhibited at ‘World of Glass Museum’, St Helen’s, with the CGS in October 2019.
Exhibited at Wolverhampton University ‘Courtyard’ gallery (March- June 2018) with ‘The Fertile Crescent’ consisting of twelve glass Amphora depicting the evolution of society in the Middle East and its influence on the West.
Exhibited for my MA show at Wolverhampton Museum and Art Gallery November 2017.
In November 2018 Two pieces from this series won the ‘Silver’ medal (‘Discovery of Wealth’) and the second (‘Afterglow’) the medal for ‘Excellent Work’ in the ‘3rd Session of China (Hejian) Craft Glass Design & Creation Exhibition and Competition’ at Ming Shangde Glass Museum, China.
In December 2019 these two pieces were bought by the Museum in China.
