The Contemporary Glass Society have invited selected glass artists to contribute work in the exhibition ‘Water and Music’ inspired by the 300th anniversary of Handel’s Water Music.

Chrysalis is formed from furnace worked solid glass with colured inclusion and gold leaf. The undulating surface has a lens porthole that reveals the inclusions. The cast glass object is formed to sit on a piece of rainbow slate

Stewart Hearn is a highly respected Cambridgeshire based glassmaker and designer. He has established a professional practice of over twenty-five years, developed during his experience of working with some of Britain’s best master glassmakers. In 2002, he co-founded and is now sole owner of London Glassworks.
