Knowledge – glass amphora with enamel decoration by Anthony McCabe

‘Knowledge’ is a hand blown Amphora sitting on a hand blown cylinder base which is filled with mineral or Glass eggs, each of a different pattern. They represent society and its acheivements (and failures). Each a fragile step forward or backward for mankind. The relevance in this context relates to the plant hunters who searched for new species. Some added beauty to gardens, some became a menace for the modern gardener.
