Marram Grass 4 blown and fused glass disc sculpture by Mim Brigham

This piece is inspired by a cross section of a blade of Marram Grass. The curled up and round nature of the blade is in order to reduce the loss of moisture. Hand blown and pulled glass rods, subsequently cut and fused set in a metal frame
