A charity exhibition for the benefit of St. Leonard’s Hospice, depicting the characters of York, which could be buildings, streetscapes or people. Every Autumn we also devote an exhibition of art works for sale for the benefit of the Hospice.
This year we are grateful to have artwork by the following artists:
It opens at 6.00pm on Thursday 24 October. There will be a prize draw on 2 January 2014 for original artworks, including a screen print by Peter Blake, signed by the artist, that Pyramid Gallery is donating. Tickets for the prize draw are available from the gallery; prizes will be on display once the show opens.
Artists have been invited to submit work that will be sold and also one piece of work that will be included within the prize draw. The target is to raise 1200 pounds for St. Leonard’s Hospice in York.
Please can you join us by donating?
Many artists have given their art and time to raise funds for St. Leonard’s, and we hope that you will join us by making a quick donation via our JustGiving page here:
Once you have entered the prize draw, we would recommend following us to hear the results and adding us to your email contacts:
Please remember to let others know about this draw whilst you are online.
The gallery will donate half it’s normal commission to the charity for items that are purchased.
