Caroline Finlay

Caroline Finlay graduated from Grays School of Art, Aberdeen, and now works from her studio in a renovated fire station in Dunfermline. Her jewellery is inspired by the natural beauty of the Scottish coastline capturing the textures, colours, shapes and light found there. Caroline works mainly in silver and vitreous enamel, with necklaces often also incorporating strings of beads.

Caroline explores jewellery making and enamelling techniques to create mark making, form, colour and texture. Each stage is made by hand, no piece is identical and no pattern is exactly the same.
